Despite the cold
We've been enduring frigid temperatures for far too long in my part of the world. My current temperature is a comfy 7 degrees F. Luckily, we've had plenty of brilliant sunshine throughout the week so that it is not too dreary!
I mentioned in my last blog post that I had a project that I wanted to display soon. I believe that I had already completed the vest at that time, but I was unable to take pictures of the vest until this afternoon.
Please excuse the dorm room setting! The vest is the object of attention, so just don't worry about anything else that happens to catch your eye....
The pattern is called the Planche Vest by Meghan Jones, a very unique design for summer knitwear. I have always been interested in it simply because it is so unique. Even at this present moment, I am envisioning one of my long necklaces draping across the front of the vest, and it is very cool.
See, when I say that the knitting world seems to have its own sense of style, truly do I mean that the knitting world seems to have its own sense of style.
(By the way, if you are interested in interesting knitted clothing, you should start here, here, or even here. Next, create an account, feel some inspiration, and buy some needles. My work is nothing compared to the rest of the knitting world!)
I have also been working on a pair of leg warmers that a friend has commissioned from me. Perhaps some day soon I will post a picture of those as well. They are not quite done yet, but I hope to have them done by this weekend.
That's my report for today! Stay warm, and remember: wear wonderful woolly warm wool.
