Getting things done
Getting things done and adding things on, actually. Why does it always work out that way?
I have been up to a lot lately, including cleaning my violin. (When I should be knitting, I instead pick up all the old, on the burner plans and finish them.)
I am glad to finally have cleaned my violin up. After many years of sad treatment, about a pound of rosin (the sticky stuff that is put on the bow) became caked onto the body of the instrument. You're supposed to clean it off after every time you play, but growing up I never did....
But Goo Gone is a miracle-ish solution. As my brother says, "It takes off everything you don't want, but leaves on everything you do." Therefore, off comes rosin from violin, on stays the finish. It's wonderful!

I've been getting knitting done, too. Slowly, slowly, slowly.... I probably ought to go finish some more. Or start some more. Anything and everything, right?
Glad to see your violin's all clean and happy! I should really think about giving my viola the same squeaky clean treatment!
ReplyDeleteIs that seed stitch I spy? Excited to see how that lovely tweedy grey WIP turns out!
