Oh dear

In the knitting world, I am at the bottom of the totem pole.  I stand on the last wrung of the ladder, an amateur.

In the real world, I say that I knit and my listener is rendered unconscious.  In those moments, I only hope that I am not placed into the knitter stereotype that cannot seem to disappear.  Sometimes I think I see people branding "cat hoarder" and "spinster" clear across my forehead.

Then I return to the knitting world.  I see these top-designers making their top-fashion items, with hundreds and thousands of likes and views and comments.

And then I get another astounded look the next day from someone else.  My lifestyle conflicts with itself.

My other observation is this:  I have too many ideas.  And...they all want to start now and finish soon.  Idea overload?
