Mini Lament
I do not mean to complain this entire post--really, I don't. I don't REALLY have any cause for a lament of any kind. All I want to say is: how on earth does a person deal with a 90% reduction of free time?
I do not have the time I had over break. Now I have homework, work-work, laundry, volunteering, class-time, chapel-time, friend-time, etc. Looking back and holding all these responsibilities on my shoulders, I cannot believe how much progress I made over break.
But I'm not giving up! I WILL find time. So, to prove my sincerity, I snapped some pictures and have them included below:
The fun thing about the yellow is that they will be gloves. Inspiration: I needed something small enough to fit in my purse so that I could take my knitting with me when I went to watch a football game a couple days ago. (Sports are fun to play, but awful to watch.)
The sweater is on top there. I also have another project in the basket, but I didn't show it because I haven't quite figured it out entirely yet. I think I finally have, but that means I might have to change it (a.k.a. reknit it) once more.
Finally, it snowed over the weekend! I and a friend went on Saturday to a park nearby to hike around in it. Needless to say, the woods were beautiful. I do not believe any description I could give would do the wooded land any justice.
I love snow.
